Calvary International Law respects the privacy of every individual who visits our website, contacts our firm, or engages our legal services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you. It also describes how we handle text message communications when you opt in to receive them from our firm.
Who We Are
This Privacy Policy applies to Calvary International Law PLLC, a Washington, D.C. Professional Limited Liability Company (referred to as “Calvary,” “the firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Our principal office is located at 1763 Columbia Road NW, Suite 175, Washington, DC 20009.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly
We collect information you give us when you contact the firm, request a consultation, become a client, or communicate with us by any means. This may include your name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, date of birth, citizenship and residency information, financial information relevant to a legal engagement, identification documents required for client onboarding, and any other information you choose to share with us in the course of seeking or receiving legal services.
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit calvarylegal.com, our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring pages, and the time and date of your visit. We use this information to operate and secure the website and to understand general patterns of use.
Information from Third Parties
In the course of representing clients, we may receive information about you from financial institutions, accountants, prior counsel, government agencies, public records, and other professionals working on your matter, where authorized or required.
SMS and Text Message Communications
No Mobile Information Sharing. Calvary International Law does not share, sell, rent, or trade mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or text message consent information with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information collected through our SMS program is used solely to deliver the messages you have requested and to operate the messaging service.
How You Opt In
You may opt in to receive text messages from Calvary International Law by providing your mobile number through one of the following methods: completing a contact or intake form on calvarylegal.com that includes a clear SMS consent checkbox, providing written consent during the client onboarding process, or texting a designated keyword to a number we publish for that purpose. Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or legal engagement.
Types of Messages You May Receive
Once you opt in, you may receive transactional and informational messages from the firm, including appointment reminders and confirmations, document requests, status updates on your matter, secure links to client portals, scheduling communications, and responses to questions you have sent us.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your engagement with the firm and the status of any active matter. You will only receive messages relevant to your communications with us.
Message and Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply to any text messages you send or receive. These rates are set by your mobile carrier and are your responsibility. Calvary International Law does not charge any fee for participating in our SMS program.
How to Get Help
Reply HELP to any message from us to receive information about the messaging program. You may also contact us at [email protected] or by calling the firm directly.
How to Opt Out
You may withdraw your consent and opt out of text messages from Calvary International Law at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you reply STOP, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further text messages will be sent to you. Opting out of text messages does not end any active legal engagement, and we will continue to communicate with you through email, telephone, and mail as appropriate to your matter.
Carriers Are Not Liable
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

How We Share Information
Calvary International Law treats client information with the confidentiality required of a law firm. We do not sell personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- With your authorization. When you direct us to share information with co-counsel, accountants, financial advisors, trustees, registered agents, banks, or other professionals working on your matter.
- With service providers. With vendors who support firm operations, including our practice management platform, document storage, communication tools, and payment processors. These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations and may use information only to perform services for the firm.

As stated above, mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Confidentiality and Attorney-Client Communications
Communications with the firm before an attorney-client relationship has been formally established may not be protected by the attorney-client privilege. Sending an email, completing an online form, leaving a voicemail, or texting our firm does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is established only after we have completed a conflicts check, agreed to represent you, and you have signed a written engagement agreement.
Once we represent you, your communications with the firm are protected by the attorney-client privilege and the duty of confidentiality under the District of Columbia Rules of Professional Conduct. Please be aware that ordinary email and unencrypted text messages can be intercepted, and we encourage clients to use the secure portal we provide for sensitive documents and information.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information in our possession. These include access controls on our practice management system, encrypted storage for sensitive documents, secure email options for client communications, and routine review of our security practices. No system can guarantee absolute security, and we cannot warrant that information transmitted over the internet or through wireless networks will not be intercepted.
Cookies and Website Analytics
We use first-party and third-party cookies and similar technologies for essential site operation and, where you opt in, for analytics and measurement. Our consent model is privacy-first: non-essential categories are disabled by default until you provide consent through our cookie banner or settings.
Our analytics and measurement stack includes the following providers:
- Google Tag Manager (GTM) as our tag management layer for analytics deployment.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for aggregated website analytics and performance reporting, loaded via GTM where analytics consent is granted.
- Microsoft Clarity for behavioral analytics features such as session insights and heatmaps, loaded where analytics consent is granted.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics may be active at the infrastructure level where enabled on our Cloudflare account.
Analytics events are configured to avoid sending contact-form message content and direct identifiers such as your name, email address, and phone number as event payload fields.
You can change your choices at any time by opening Cookie Settings. You may also configure your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. Some parts of the website may not function properly if cookies are disabled.
Data Retention (Website Analytics)
We retain analytics data for as long as reasonably necessary to monitor performance, security, and service quality, subject to provider-level controls and legal requirements. Retention windows may vary by provider and configuration. We periodically review analytics settings and retention periods to minimize unnecessary storage.
Your Choices and Rights
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, request deletion of information we are not required to retain, and withdraw any consent you have previously given. Some information must be retained to comply with our recordkeeping obligations as a law firm and to defend against potential claims, even after a matter is closed. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information below.
International Clients
Calvary International Law serves clients located throughout the United States and abroad. If you are accessing our website or providing information to us from outside the United States, please understand that the information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your home jurisdiction. By providing your information to us, you consent to that transfer and processing.

Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms approved under applicable law.
Where analytics providers process data outside your jurisdiction, transfers are governed by those providers’ applicable transfer mechanisms and contractual safeguards. Our use of analytics technologies is conditioned on consent where required by law, including in EU/UK contexts.
Right to Complain to a Supervisory Authority
If you believe we have not handled your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country of residence or place of work. We would, however, appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns directly. Please contact the firm before lodging a complaint where practical.
Automated Decision-Making
We do not engage in automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects regarding visitors to our website or clients of the firm.
Children’s Privacy
Our website and SMS program are directed to adults seeking legal services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact the firm so we can delete it.
